Lyrics of the song were written by Kumaar and Shabbir Ahmed. Himesh Reshammiya composed the song.

Music video features both Salman and Jacqueline as they dances through the "Jumme Ki Raat". At least three sets were created to shoot the video, and during the making of "Jumme Ki Raat" Ahmed Khan, who choreographed the song, was told to make the song romantic and MusicAL by the director of the film, Sajid Nadiadwala.
