Julia Dunn
Julia Dunn is a reporter and anchor for WAGM NewsChannel 8 in Presque Isle, Maine. (Fall, 2006-present) She will be starting as a reporter at Fox in Burlington, VT in September of 2007.
A native of Belmont, Massachusetts, Dunn attended the local high school there before moving to Winter Park, Florida where she received a degree in International Relations from Rollins College. She is an ACTIVE member of Chi Omega sorority.
Dunn is a seasoned traveler. She has visited many US destinations including Shenandoah National Park and Yucca, Arizona. She is also a lover of Canada, specifically Quebec City and Montreal. Her favorite vacation spot is still Club Med's "Turkoise" resort in the Turks & Caicos Islands. She traveled all over Europe while studying in Glasgow, Scotland and plans on booking a trip to Italy to learn more AbOUT wine with her friend and wine guru, Christina Jeffrey.
Dunn's interests include exotic fauna, horseback riding, tennis, current events and hockey. She has one cat named Rudolph. Her heroes are Lucy Lawless, her mother and her father. Her other influences include Business Executive and Social Entrepreneur, Daniel P. Fletcher III and Wine Connoisseur, Christina Jeffrey.
