Jubilee Chalets
Jubilee Chalets is a luxury resort and conference center located at Epe area of Lagos State. It was first constructed during the Lateef Jakande's administration before it was taken up and transformed during the Akinwunmi Ambode's tenure.
History
Jubilee Chalets which was formally called The Government VIP Chalets has been in existence since Alhaji Lateef Jakande's tenure as Governor of Lagos state before it was transformed during the Akinwunmi Ambode's tenure. The Jubilee Chalets is owned by the Lagos State Government and managed by MP Hotels.
Design
The Jubilee Chalets comes with a 72 room facility, with four executive suites, an ultra-modern conference hall that can seat 500 guests, a large meeting room that can seat more than 100 guests as well as a modern restaurant. It also has some other standard facilities, some of which include: swimming pool, table tennis, football field, gymnasium, a bar, and a party area.
Commissioning
The Jubilee Chalets was commissioned on July 6, 2017 by Akinwunmi Ambode and the commissioning witnessed a whole lot of dignitaries coming to Epe to support the project. Some of which includes Party Leaders, members of the House of Assembly, members of the Diplomatic Corp and other stakeholders in the hospitality industry.
