Joystix refers to a font used by video games in the 1980s and early 1990s. Notable games use this font include Space Invaders, Pac-Man, and Super Mario Bros. Prior to the 1990s, it was used in the entire game. By 1995, the font was relegated to menu screens and story lines that took place between levels.
