Jorge Ringenbach

Jorge Ringenbach is a Mexican attorney in the practice of intellectual property. He is partner to Fulton & Fulton, S.C. and Legal Co-Lead of Creative Commons Mexico. His efforts towards free culture, open access and open source movement in Mexico have made him a key player of this movements.

Jorge Luis Ringenbach Sanabria was born in Mexico City, Mexico. Son of Engineer Oscar Ringenbach Ventimilla and Teacher Ma. de los Angeles Sanabria, brother to Oscar Ringenbach, Susana Ringenbach and Patricia Ringenbach. He grew up in a middle class family and studied in private schools until he applied to study Law at the Facultad de Derecho de la U.N.A.M. After obtaining his J.D. he continued his education at the Unidad de Posgrado de la Facultad de Derecho de la U.N.A.M. becoming an Intellectual Property specialist. He is now in the process of obtaining his Masters in Law degree in the same postgraduate studies institution.
