Jonas Hartmann

Jonas Hartmann (born July 3, 1975 in Aalborg, Denmark) is an Danish soccer player, the first Dane to become a starting player for the Jacksonville Cyclones.
Hartmann's soccer career started in Denmark, where he played for a number of different clubs including AaB, Aalborg Freja Boldklub, Gug Boldklub, Vejgaard Boldklub. Jonas played on one of the most successful Aalborg Freja teams in history with 3 league titles and he debuted on the U-21 team for the club as a 16 year old.
Jonas moved to the United States in 1998 and played for the now-defunct Jacksonville Cyclones of the A-League. He followed the time at Jacksonville with the Orlando Nighthawks of the USISL at Cocoa Beach in Orlando.
Jonas returned to Utah after the season ended in Florida and had a short practice stint with both the Utah Freezz of the World Indoor Soccer League and the Utah Blitzz of the USISL, but retired from professional soccer shortly after to focus on a career in business.
