Jon Foster (writer)
Jon Foster (born 18 September, 1981) is English comedy writer. He grew up in Cheltenham, attending Dean Close School and then studied English and History at Trinity College Dublin graduating in 2005.
Television Work
Alongside writing partner James Lamont, he has written on The Armstrong and Miller Show series 2 & 3 (2008/ 2009), The Amazing World of Gumball series 1 & 2 (2009-2010) for Cartoon Network and CFKD for BBC Comedy Extra (2009).
He also co-created and produced Bryony Makes a Zombie Movie (2008) for BBC Three which was nominated for a television BAFTA and a Rose d'Or in 2009.
Edinburgh
Jon was a founding member of H-BAM a sketch-group formed at Trinity College Dublin in 2002. He wrote and performed in TV Dinner and Dancing (2003), and Stop Fistfighting, You're Pregnant(2004). In 2005 he returned with a new group, Los Albatross, co-writing and performing a one-off narrative sketch show, The Boy Who Cried Whale.
In 2007 he wrote and performed in Monsieur De Reve, with James Lamont.
