Joliet Buccaneers
The Joliet Buccaneers Minor League Football Organization is an semi-pro/Minor League/amateur football team of the MidStates Football League based in Joliet, Illinois. Home games are played at Joliet Memorial Stadium.
From 2004 until 2008, the Bucs were known as the Bolingbrook Buccaneers. In 2007 the Buccaneers were the Mid-States Football League's Eastern Conference Champions beating the Northern Illinois Cowboys 34-14. They appeared in the 2007 MSFL Championship Game, losing to the Chicago Thunder by a score of 36-7.
In 2009 the Buccaneers moved the team's location name to Joliet, Illionis in order to serve the City of Joliet and its surrounding cities.
