He is also one half of the tag team The RockN.E.S. Monsters with Johnny Goodtime.
Career
Johnny Yuma is one of the most ACTIVE wrestlers in Southern California having worked for almost every company in the area. As a singles wrestler he has feuded with such wrestlers as Chris Kadillak, Peter Avalon, Locura, SoCal Crazy, Jason Watts, Chimera, Jason Redondo and more. Yuma’s singles career received a huge boost when he scored an upset victory over 2-time NWA World Heavyweight Champion “Scrap Iron” Adam Pearce.
Yuma and Johnny Goodtime formed the RockN.E.S. Monsters tag team in late 2009. The name is a play on Yuma’s Rock N Roll character and Goodtime’s video game character. Originally they wanted to be called Team Lobot due to both men being huge Star Wars fans, but opted for the Monsters name. In their debut match they won a non-title bout with SCP Tag Team Champions the Ballard Brothers. On January 9, 2010 they won the rematch to claim the titles. Additionally the Monsters advanced to the final round of the 16 Tag Team Tournament to crown the first ever M1W 1 Tag Team Champions. Although they came up short against Natural Selection (Shawn Rickers & Brian Cage) in the tournament, the Monsters have continued to pursue the titles.
