Joey Roberts
Joey Roberts (born Malosi Jobob Taeleifi) is an American songwriter/producer and musician from Chino Hills, California. His most recent projects include playing bass and vocals for the unsigned psychedelic rock group The Quiet Minds. Also, Roberts is part of the dynamic MusicAL duo of Kenny and Jobob.
Biography
Early life
Roberts was born in Chino, California. His Father, Malosi Taeleifi, was a major Hawaiian concert producer throughout the 1990s. His projects included the Aloha Concert Jam festival, a three-day event hosted at Los Angeles's Olympic Velodrome, and Long Beach's Rainbow Lagoon Park and Queen Mary Park. Roberts' mother is an elementary school teacher in Pomona, California. Roberts had a self-described "normal childhood" in a middle-class family and has a younger sister, Kali Taeleifi.
Early Works
Roberts started his work in music in 2006 and since then has produced both music and charity concerts at which he has preformed, including the Chili's annual benefit month for St. Jude's Children Hospital .
Present
Roberts is now working with singer/song-writer J.Ovanni as the concert bass player. The have recently done shows with Emma Degerstedt and Chelsea Tavares of Nickelodeon's "Unfabulous".
Personal life
Roberts resides in Chino Hills with his family. In his free time he enjoys filming comical movies with friends. He openly admires High School Musical and High School Musical 2 co-star Vanessa Anne Hudgens.
