Joel Guyton Lee

Actor Joel Guyton Lee’s most prominent role has been as Adjutant Bunbury in The Rising. He has also featured in several independent Indian films, including this year's critically-acclaimed Dharam. A native of the United States, he has spent considerable time living, working, and studying in India and is fluent in Hindi and Urdu.

He holds a BA from Kenyon College and recently completed a Fulbright Fellowship in India, where he is researching socially engaged folk theater. He currently attends Columbia University in New York. This May, he married Joanna Slater, who portrayed Lady Canning in The Rising.
