Joel Gelman
Joel Gelman is an American Board Certified Urologist, the Director of the Center for Reconstructive Urology and an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department Of Urology at the University of California, Irvine. He is most known for performing a nine hour corrective surgery for scrotal lymphedema on Wesley Warren, Jr. which was documented as a British Bodyshock film by Firecracker Films and aired on TLC for a premiere in the United States, on August 19, 2013 under the title The Man with the 132 lb Scrotum. Joel Gelman and this surgical procedure has also been featured in other television and online publications including Mirror TV, The Doctors, the Las Vegas Review Journal, and Jet Magazine.
Early life
Joel Gelman completed his undergraduate studies in Psychology at Indiana University. He then enrolled in medical school at the Medical College of Ohio and completed his residency at the Indiana University Medical Center. He then expanded to his practice of Urology at the UCLA Medical Center prior to becoming the Director at the Center for Reconstructive Urology at UCI.

Joel currently lives in Orange County, California.
