Joe Meara

Joe Meara (born 4 August 1975) is a former professional snooker player from Northern Ireland.

Career summary

He spent three seasons as a professional, as well as entering in preliminary rounds of the World Snooker Championship and Masters Qualifying Event as an amateur. His most successful season was in 2003/2004, where his best ranking finish was in the last 80 of the 2004 European Open. He qualified for the 2011/2012 professional Main Tour by topping the Northern Ireland rankings, however dropped off the tour at the end of that season after playing a limited schedule due to financial issues and losing every match he played.
