Joe Cermin

Joe Cermin is the founder and president of Viztek. A Croatian National, Cermin and his wife Christina began Viztek in 1999 selling radiologists a proprietary picture archiving and communications system (PACS), branded Onyx-RAD. Viztek grew quickly, providing both the PACS software as well as computed radiography systems (CR); with a strong focus on overseas sales to the military. Over the past ten years, Viztek has grown substantially into a full fledged digital radiology solution provider. Viztek now offers a full line of advanced radiology software solutions, including PACS, RIS, and Billing, as well as state-of-the-art CR and DR Systems.= Viztek is an Enterprize with 30 + mil in sales and approx 60 employees.

In May of 2005, Cermin was awarded with the Ellis Island Medal of Honor for his contribution to further developing his native Balkans.

Prior to Viztek In 1989 Cermin, was installing and supporting computer systems in small local businesses. Several years later, in 1993, Cermin and his wife Christina started a computer retail store called World One Technologies, INC. World One sold and serviced computers for local businesses.
