Jitka Sidorick

Jitka Janice Sidroick is a Host and an American Actress. Jitka Sidorick is single, has no children and lives in Newport Beach California with her Boston Terrier, Beacon.

Early life

Born in Connecticut, USA and raised in Bethany CT. Jitka Sidorick graduated from Amity Regional High School (Woodbridge, CT). She attended Albertus Magnus College (New Haven, CT) and graduated Cum Laude with a baccalaureate in Social Science. She went on to attend Boston University (Boston, MA) and earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) with emphasis in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Jitka Sidorick went on to work with various world health agencies and pharmaceutical companies in human clinical research and traveled to 6 of 7 continents and 45 out of 50 US states investigating diseases. She managed various clinical programs, most notably, the clinical trial for the product Restasis for the Pharmaceutical Company Allergan. In 2004 Jitka Sidorick founded and is currently CEO of clinical research company called The JANIX Corporation and continues working in disease and health research.

Acting career

Jitka Sidorick never set out to become an actress. However, she was approached to host a TV show AbOUT epidemics, disease research and how the FDA interacts with Pharmaceutical companies. As she was qualified on the topics she accepted the position. The show is called "Bugs and Drugs- What you can't see WILL KILL YOU! ©" and can be watched on various Time Warner cable channels.

Jitka Sidorick decided to continue a career in entertainment and was cast in 2 episodes of the SCI-FI show call Tales from Dark Fall: "Hit or Miss" (directed by Larry Thomas]) and "Bump Thoughts" (directed by Lynn-Holly Johnson]). Produced by Robert M. Conrad .

Training

Jitka Sidorick is involved in the Newport Beach Repertory Theater Group and has had and continues acting training at the Emmy Award Winning South Coast Repertory Theater.
