Jim Corl
James E. "Jim" Corl, Jr. (born May 11, 1975) is an American politician. He is a member of the Onondaga County Legislature of New York.
Mr. Corl and his wife, Amy (a teacher in the North Syracuse School System), have three children. He was born in Cicero, New York and, after graduating from Cicero-North Syracuse High School, attended Onondaga Community College, Le Moyne College, and Syracuse University College of Law, where he graduated in 2000 with a Juris Doctor degree. He got his start in politics in 2003, when he was elected to the Cicero, New York Town Board. After serving ten years there, he was elected to the Onondaga County Legislature.

Mr. Corl served as a Counsilor for six years, Deputy Supervisor for two years and Town Supervisor for two years. In 2013 he ran unopposed for County Legislator for district 3, Onondaga County.

Mr. Corl serves on three committees: Environmental Protection, Health (where he also serves as vice-chair), and Planning and Economic Development.
Professional career
Mr. Corl is a practicing attorney, running a law practice in Cicero, NY. This is a general law practice, focusing on family and matrimonial-related matters.
