Jill Gioia is a, gritty, soulful American musician. She was Born on May 6, 1973, in New York, New York. She currently lives with her husband in Franklin Square, New York. They spend their time playing country music together.

Career

Jill Gioia was the winner of the Steve Madden Rock N'Sole Contest. She has also opened for Third Eye Blind and has been on David Letterman. She has also sung with Kelly Clarkson and sang a song for Simon Malls which can be heard in Simon Malls across America. She can be heard on her 2 CDs, Got Some Issues and He's My [...].

Rockstar Supernova

Jill was a Contestant on Rock Star: Supernova. Jill made it to week 6 before being eliminated along with fellow contestant Josh Logan. Jill was able to save herself twice with renditions of Bring Me to Life and Alone. Jill then sang Aretha Franklin's Respect on the week 6 elimination show during which she was eliminated. Jill also got into a confrontation with Gilby Clarke after singing Brown Sugar with Gilby on guitar. Jill grinded Gilby and Gilby felt it was cheap and that she was better than that. Jill also got into a confrontation with the girls AbOUT not fighting for a chance to play with Gilby.

After Supernova

Since leaving the show, Jill has toured the United States and has recorded her version of Silent Night for a Christmas album.
