Jesse Horne
Jesse Horne (born May 2, 1975) is a television sports reporter for KUSA-TV, the NBC affiliate in Denver, Colorado. He started at KUSA/9NEWS in August 2007 as the station’s high school sports reporter. In May 2008, he began anchoring the “Prep Rally” on the station’s weekend morning shows.
Born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Horne graduated from North High School in 1993. He also attended the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where he was a news reporter, anchor and news director for the campus television station.
Horne started as a sports reporter for the Chippewa Herald newspaper in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin in 1995, then worked at WQOW-TV (ABC) in Eau Claire from 1997 to 1999. He then was a photographer/editor for WAGT-TV (NBC) in Augusta, Georgia until August 2000.
He went back to newspapers in October 2000, working at the Stevens Point Journal in Stevens Point, Wisconsin until 2004, when Horne was promoted to assistant sports editor of four newspapers and worked at the Daily Herald in Wausau, Wisconsin. While in central Wisconsin, he volunteered at WWSP, the college radio station at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
In 2006, he was named sports editor of the Oshkosh Northwestern in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Horne is married and lives in the Denver area.
