Jennifer Lazlo Mizrahi
Jennifer Laszlo Mizrahi is an American political strategist, advocate and commentator. She is president and founder of Laszlo Strategies., a Washington, D.C. consulting firm.
Laszlo Mizrahi established Laszlo Strategies in 2012 where she advises clients on issues such as medical research, disability rights, and education. She has been especially ACTIVE in pushing for successful medical research for cures as well as for more opportunities for those with disabilities.
Politics and public service
Laszlo Mizrahi worked on President Clinton's campaign and consulted for his administration. She has also advised members of U.S. Senate and U.S. House of Representatives.
She previously served as the political and training director for Campaigns and Elections magazine and led the first campaign training seminars for democratic activists working to overthrow communism in the Former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe.
In addition, she worked as an aide on Capitol Hill for Representative Gerry Sikorski (D-MN) campaign manager for Representative David Skaggs, (D-CO), and Director of Community Service and Public Policy Programs DC Jewish Community Center.
Non-profit leadership
In 2002 Laszlo Mizrahi cofounded The Israel Project, a non-profit educational and outreach organization which, under her leadership, had employees in Washington, Jerusalem, China and India. She spent 10 years as president of the group.
Laszlo Mizrahi has provided management advice to other non-profit organizations.
She wrote a weekly column on politics and public policy for the The Daily Record 1 for six years. In addition, she is a columnist for the Washington Jewish Week and her work also appears in other media outlets, including The Huffington Post.
The Forward newspaper has recognized her three times as one of The 50 Most Important Jews in America.
Personal
Laszlo Mizrahi was born in Durham, N.C. on May 8, 1964. She earned her BA from Emory University in Atlanta in Jewish Studies and International Studies. She studied at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, L‘Institute Catholic in Paris, and Harvard University. Laszlo Mizrahi is married to Victor Mizrahi.
