Jennifer Grossman

Jennifer A. Grossman currently serves as Senior Vice President of the Dole Nutrition Institute, a division of the Dole Food Company.

Education

Grossman graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from Harvard University, where she studied international affairs and completed internships in Amman, Jordan, and Paris, France.

Career

From 1989-1992, Ms. Grossman worked as researcher, then speechwriter to President George H. W. Bush (1988-1992). After the White House, Grossman worked for Arianna Huffington, ultimately serving as communications director for Michael Huffington’s unsuccessful1994 senate bid. In 1995, Grossman served as the senior writer to the National Commission on Economic Growth and Tax Reform with the late Jack Kemp. In 1996, Grossman joined the CATO Institute where she served as Education Policy Director. She also served as the advisor to the late Theodore Forstmann of Forstmann Little, LLC and helped launch the Children’s Scholarship Fund.

She has written for The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Post, The Los Angeles Times, The Weekly Standard, National Review, The Washington Times, and Women’s Quarterly. In addition to regular commentary on MSNBC, CNN, and CNBC, she has appeared on Larry King Live, Hannity & Colmes, The O’Reilly Factor and Politically Incorrect.

In 2003, Grossman was hired by Dole Food Company chairman David H. Murdock to create the Dole Nutrition Institute, which publishes a variety of educational materials. The Dole Nutrition Institute also sponsors the Dole Employee Wellness program, including a healthy cafeteria & onsite gym and fitness classes.
