Jed Rose

Jed Rose is an active and internationally recognized performer and instructor taught by Patricia Ryan Madson. He earned his B.Sc. with Honors from Stanford in Symbolic Systems in 2003 and then worked in product management for 6 years at Microsoft, where he was responsible for consumer marketing on Microsoft Windows and also led in the creation of Microsoft's $3 Student Innovation Suite for students in developing countries. During his time there, he also brought to market a new technology called Windows Multipoint, which allowed for improved shared access computing for classrooms and had widespread success in Southeast Asia.

While at Microsoft, Rose studied with Unexpected Productions and was an ensemble member of Quiet Monkey Fight. After several years of performing and teaching improvisational theatre in Seattle and BBC World Service. Currently, he is an MBA student at Cambridge University and an active member of its student-run troupe, the Improvised Comedy Ents.

Over his career, Rose has been featured at well-established comedy productions across North America and Europe, including international comedy festivals in New York City, Orlando and Toronto. Outside of improvisational thinking in the workplace, his specialty interests are digital storytelling, theatrical styles, and physical comedy.
