Jason Richard Heffner
Jason Richard Heffner (b. January 28, 1980) is an American film maker.
Early life
Jason was born in Abington Pennsylvania to Richard Heffner and Regina (Gimbel) Heffner. He has a younger sister, Sarah, born in 1983. He attended North Penn High School and Bloomsburg University.
Film career
Heffner started his film career with international spy thriller, The 21st Element in 2006. He wrote, directed and starred in as "Jay", the main protagonist. In 2008, he wrote and directed "The Universe and I." For this film, he won the coveted "Best Soundtrack" award from Project 21, a Philadelphia based film festival. The film starred Ed Barger, and Heffner played a supporting role. In 2009, he wrote and directed "Chastity and Prudence" and acted in the short film "Revenge of the Don." All of his films are produced by Drop the Hat Productions.
