Jason Hadjioannou

Jason Hadjioannou is an English/Greek media and technology entrepreneur from Chingford, London known as the creator of the social networking service "La-La".

In 2013 Jason became the editor of the British men's lifestyle publication Zip magazine, which was owned and published previously by "Loaded" magazine.

La-La

Jason created "La-La" originally as a way to message his girlfriend in a more interesting way. In an interview with Softonic, Jason is quoted: "I was AbOUT to send my girlfriend a text message one morning and just thought it'd be cool if I sent her a short audible song snippet instead of writing it".

Jason explains how he developed an early version of the messaging app in the summer of July 2014 and actioned the first La-La message to be sent via the service shortly after - which was a stream of the 17-second chorus of ‘Hello’ by Lionel Richie.

The music messaging app was released to the public on the 9th July, for iOS devices, and it gained fast early traction due to a widely positive reception.

Zip Magazine

"Zip magazine", the UK publication formally owned and published by "Loaded" (magazine), announced on the 13th August 2013 that Jason Hadjioannou would be its new editor. In an article written by William Turvill of Press Gazette, the men's lifestyle magazine known for its features on Extreme-Sports, Tech, Music, Girls & Men's Humour, was said to be improving its format to encourage online social interaction. Since Jason's arrival, Zip magazine's big features mainly revolve around British Surfing and quirky technology inventions.

Other projects

On 18 June 2014, an announcement on the official "Loaded TV" website stated that Loaded TV had been acquired by the publishing arm of Zip magazine.

The statement also announced the development of a Loaded TV mobile App for iOS devices was being developed by Jason Hadjioannou.
