Inspiration
Jang is inspired by the depth of simplicity, the quiet articulations.
A slight squint of the eyes, a light parting of the lips or simply the graphic silhouette of the body all contribute to the emotive expressions of the photograph.
He has an innate urge to experiment and improvise.
Kev is intrigued by the genres and amalgamation of fine art, conceptual, fashion and documentary photography.
He tends to discern inspiration through elements of tension, the underappreciated, dark humor and the grey regions in life.
Some of his favorite photographers are Steven Meisel, Guy Bourdin and Rodney Smith
