James Skinner (1964~) Author of the 9 Steps of Success, a best selling self-help book in Japanese and Korean; also translator of the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, the Seven Habits of Highly Effective Families, the 10 NATURAL Laws of Successful Time and Life Management, and other works from English into Japanese. The first non-Asian ever certified as a management consultant in Japan. Also a well known public speaker and TV personality. He has appeared regularly on Beat Takeshi's TV Tackle, Ikiiki Shutoken on NHKBS1, and on Tokyo FM. (On March 3rd, 2006, James Skinner and the 9 Steps of Success were the subject of a one hour television special on TV Tokyo, hosted by famous Japanese TV personality Norio Minorikawa. His work has also been featured by Richard Quest on CNN, TV Asahi J's Kodawari, and in a variety of Japanese news publications, such as Nihonkeizai Shinbun, Nikkei Business, BOSS, Keizaikai, and TYPE.)
