James Hannon

James Hannon (born 1967 in [[Norwood, Bronx, New York]] ) is an Irish-American filmmaker who is best known for his documentary on the 1960's garage band [[Richard and the Young Lions]] called "Out of Our Dens: The Richard and the Young Lions Story"[http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0422899/]

Since 2006, he has been working on an as-yet-untitled documentary project on [[Bronx gangs (1950s-1960s)]]. It is focusing on such gangs as the [[The Ducky Boys gang|Ducky Boys]] and Fordham Baldies who were made famous by the [[The Wanderers (1979 film)]]. Mr Hannon's documentary is scheduled to be released in early 2008.
