James Alexander (1982)

James Martin Alexander (born 27 February, 1982) is a British politician.

On September 19th 2007, James Alexander was selected as the Labour Prospective Parliamentary Candidate (PPC) for York Outer (see1).

He is a Labour Councillor for Holgate ward in the City of York (see2). Elected in 2007, his ward was the only Labour gain in the City of York (see3). He won with a majority of 127 over the Liberal Democrats (see4)

James Alexander is one of few British politicians who is a video blogger. His youtube channel, time-4-change TV (see5), was launched by Hazel Blears MP in April 2007 (see6).

At time of writing, James Alexander is the most subscribed British politician on youtube (see7). Second to him is David Cameron MP, who is Leader of the Conservative Party and Leader of the Opposition in the United Kingdom (see8).

James Alexander graduated from the University of York in 2004 and was the University of York Students’ Union President 2004-05.

James Alexander worked as the Labour party constituency organiser and election agent for Hammersmith Labour party 2005-2007 (see9). The main opposition to the Labour partys was the Conservative Party (see10).
