Jake Hauswirth
Jake Hauswirth (born February 16, 1988) is an American professional ice hockey player who is currently playing for the Cincinnati Cyclones in the ECHL.
Playing career
On May 26, 2009, Hauswirth was signed as a free agent by the Washington Capitals after completing his junior career with the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League. In his first professional season in 2009–10, Hauswirth was assigned to Capitals ECHL affiliate, the South Carolina Stingrays.
On February 28, 2011, Hauswirth was traded by the Capitals, along with a third round pick to the Florida Panthers for Dennis Wideman. He was then transferred to the Panthers ECHL affiliate, the Cincinnati Cyclones.
