Jacob Mellis

Jacob Mellis is a Nottingham-born and plays in midfield. He is currently contracted to Chelsea as a youth player after signing from Sheffield United in June 2007. Sheffield United purportedly may receive up to £1,300,000 on Mellis' Chelsea move. Mellis is an England junior international (U-16) and was a regular in Sheffield United's reserve teams last season, despite being still in high school.
