Jaclyn Bradley Palmer

Jaclyn Bradley Palmer (born Jaclyn Bradley) is an indie singer-songwriter and published music therapist from Lorain, Ohio. Since 2005, she has released two LP's (Bold and Hollywood be thy name). Her songs have been featured on TV and in film. She has appeared as a regular cast member on shows such as Vh1's Breaking Bonaduce. She is also a board certified music therapist who specializes in surgical music therapy research. Her studies have been published in high impact peer reviewed journals such as the Journal of Clinical Oncology. Jaclyn was chosen by Cleveland Magazine as one of the Most Interesting People of 2016.

History

Jaclyn Bradley Palmer was born in Lorain, Ohio- a steel town West of Cleveland. After obtaining an Opera degree from Indiana University, Palmer took her MusicAL training to Los Angeles where she began writing popular music for TV and Film. Before becoming a solo artist, she toured the LA live music scene, singing back-up for Ty Stone (Atlantic Records), Michael Satrazemis (Walking Dead), and Gretchen Hillmer Bonaduce. Music from her debut and sophomore albums were featured on Vh1, Bravo, TLC and "The Hipsters" starring Joan Rivers and Phyllis Diller. Singing on stages across the United States, she has also appeared as a regular cast member on several television shows, namely Vh1's "Breaking Bonaduce" and "Random Acts of Music," where she helped to create a 12-episode voice lesson series. Her employer at the time, television/radio personality Danny Bonaduce, played bass guitar at the CD release performance of her first album. A board certified music therapist (MT-BC), with a master's degree in music therapy, she studies the effect of music on surgery patients and is a published music in medicine author. Her manuscripts have been published in the Journal of Clinical Oncology and Music Therapy Perspectives. She conducted the largest music therapy study in history to employ the use of live music in the surgical arena. She currently resides in The Netherlands and is producing her third album while continuing surgical music therapy research.
