J3 (artist)
Harvey Justice III (born March 2, 1993) is an Independent American Recording Artist, producer and lyricist. He goes by the stage name J3, and more specifically J3 Musique, commonly mistaken as 'J3 Music'. He is a reputable artist in his hometown Durham, NC , and his fan base is extending nationwide. To date (as of May 24, 2009), J3 has accumulated over 1.3 million plays on his Official Myspace Page, and has participated in several notable performances locally. His most notable being at TeenFest 2K9.
MusicAL career
J3 started his musical ambitions online, as he pursued recognition on his Myspace Page. His first success came upon the release of his the Christian Rap song 'The Greatest Story Ever Told', which quickly gained attention getting airplay and meriting him tens of thousands of fans on the social networking site Myspace.
Since the release of 'The Greatest Story Ever Told', he has followed up with 'The Greatest Story Ever Told Part 2', released months afterward on Myspace and was a featured ringtone on the popular ringtone website Myxer. Following positive reviews on performing 'The Greatest Story Ever Told Part 2' at Teenfest by celebrity judges such as Christopher Martin (entertainer) and Clifton Davis, he has pursued the creation of his first independent album. Specifics of the release of this independent album has yet to be officially announced.
Appearances and Performances
J3 has appeared at many local events, schools and even performs Christian Rap at major churches such as the local Union Baptist Church. His performance schedule is maintained on his Official Show Schedule.
