J. Stevens & Son Was A British Company located since 1820s in London & Glasgow, Brass Founders Manufacturing Military & Railway supplies & engineers. In 1871 The company name changed to J. Stevens & Sons, address being Southwark Bridge Road, London & of Glasgow.

As most professional Whistle makers stopped making whistles circa late Victorian Era or soon after , to name a few ;Dowler , Auld, Coney & Co., Black & Co, Walton, Barrall and Yates , so did Stevens. The exception Being A De Courcy & Co and J Hudson & Co.

It is c. 1901 That J. Stevens & Sons stopped manufacturing whistles ordering their whistles from J Hudson & Co Founded by Joseph Hudson in Birmingham. These whistles are very rare since that collaboration did not last long.
