Biography

Early life

Crockett grew up in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, of Irish/Scot heritage. He and future bandmates attended Cape Elizabeth High School.

During his youth, he was by general accounts something of an outcast and had a dysfunctional family life; which inspired the song "Girls." His parents divorced in the early 1980s. His mother encouraged an interest in music in both him and his brother Matt (a.k.a. Chanco Blanco).

He was a fan of The Grateful Dead, among other bands (particularly "oldies" and the Phil Spector produced "Girl Groups"). He took up guitar at 13, playing throughout his teen years.

Recently

Crockett has been playing "gigs" around the city of Portland, Maine for the last 5 years. He plays in such establishments as "Angie's", "Ale House", "Nappi's", and "Cadillac Jack's". He has made appearances on The Man Show, Jimmy Kimmel, and various music videos.
