J. C. Schroder
J.C. Schroder (born May 16, 1985) is an American film festival director, event producer, film director, film producer, and screenwriter.
Biography
Born in Dallas, Texas, on May 16, 1985, Schroder traveled much of the US at an early age, eventually living in Europe for several years. After returning from Europe, he began his professional career as a sound designer for regional theater groups in while living near Ann Arbor, Michigan. In 2000, Schroder founded the independent production company Star Com Productions LLC, which was, at the time, dedicated solely to producing technical elements for live concert and theatre productions. In 2004, the company moved to Cincinnati, Ohio and extended itself to include independent film and commercial media production. As such, and due to his interest in Independent Film, he founded the Oxford International Film Festival in April 2007, and continues as key Director and Producer of the festival. In addition, he now serves as the Executive Director of the Miami Film Association.
His upcoming films include "The End of All Things" and "Eastern College," both debuting in 2008, with his feature directorial debut, "In Dreams", scheduled for production in 2009, and tentative release in early 2010.
