ITag
iTag is a free tool that adds title, description and keyword tags to photos and movie files - supporting JPEG, PNG, RAW, AVI and WMV formats. All metadata entered is saved to IPTC and XMP headers, making the data accessible to other applications such as Picasa and Flickr.
The main feature separating iTag from similar tools is its ability to batch tag many related photos at once - where as similar tools typically work with one image a time.
The Whois record for itagsoftware.com shows it was registered 2007-04-21 to "B H" in Kogarah, NSW, Australia.
Technical Information
iTag is written in .NET 3.5 using WPF for the user interface. iTag uses a combination of Microsoft's Windows Imaging Component and the Adobe XMP toolkit to edit the file headers.
Keyboard Shortcuts
iTag has a lot of keyboard shortcuts to help the user keep their hands off the mouse and on the keyboard.
