He was born on 11th October 1987 in [[Barisal]] and made his debut for [[Barisal Division]] in 2003/04, playing through the 2006/07 season. He also played one 'youth test' for Bangladesh under 19s. A right handed batsman and right arm medium pace bowler his only first class fifty (66) came against [[Khulna Division]]
while he took 4 for 46 against [[Dhaka Division]] with the ball. In the one day game he hit 52 against [[Sylhet Division]] and took 3 for 31 against [[Dhaka Division]].
