Isaac O. Ogundipe

Engr Isaac Olayia Olawale Ogundipe is an Electrical Engineer, School Administrator and Founder of Isolog schools, Nigeria.

Early life and history

In 1948, Engr I. O. Ogundipe was born in Isinbode, Ekiti State, Nigeria. He studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Yaba College of Technology, Lagos and University of Ife, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria. He is a COREN Registered Engineer and a member of Nigerian Society of Engineers. He was in the employment of Nigerian Federal Ministry of Aviation and later Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria for 33 years.

He was the General Manager Electrical & Telecomms of FAAN at the time of his retirement. On retirement, he joined the family business. He is the CEO of Isolog Group of Schools, a family business that runs primary and secondary education in Lagos and Ogun states of Nigeria.

Isolog Group Of Schools

Isolog Computers was founded in 1998. In September 1999, Isolog Schools was founded, the College started at 5/7 Adegoke Ajayi Street, off Saabo, Ojodu and a Nursery and Primary School at 1 Morgan Street, Ojodu was founded in 2000. The school later expanded with two new sites; one at Temidire Estate, Alagbole-Isolog College Campus founded in 2005 and Isolog Primary School founded in 2006 at Ajayi farm Bus stop at Alagbole, Akute. The colleges are co – educational institutions that offer full complement of courses in science, arts and commercial subjects, both at SSCE/OL and A/L. The colleges admit students for both day and boarding. A/L, O/L and IGCSE Cambridge programmes are offered at Isolog Schools for students who desire direct admission into Nigerian, British, European or American Universities.

In 2009, Isolog Group of Schools celebrated its 10th Year Anniversary. It was celebration galore at Isolog Junior School, Alagbole, Ogun State last week as parents and well wishers joined teachers and pupils to celebrate its 10th anniversary. A long-service award/gala night last Saturday capped the one-week of activities which featured a rally, public lecture, cultural display, football matches, drama, inter-school debates and a thanksgiving service. For the proprietors, Mr and Mrs Isaac Ogundipe, the celebration was a testimony of a vision backed by the Almighty who ensured its fulfillment.

Family life

Engr. Ogundipe is happily married to Adejoke Omolola Ogundipe (Nee Obayemi) and they have four children - Olawale Ogundipe Jnr. (b. 1982), Olubukola Ogundipe (b. 1983), Ayodeji Ogundipe (b. 1985) and Oyindamola Ogundipe (b. 1987).
