Investment Advisor magazine is a U.S. based monthly business-to-business publication reaching independent financial advisors, registered investment advisors as well as insurance based broker-dealers.
Highline Business Media currently owns and publishes this periodical.
History
Investment Advisor was founded in 1981 as The Stanger Register. By 1990, with the growth of the investment advisory profession it was re-christened as Stanger’s Investment Advisor. Within two years the magazine’s name had been shortened simply to Investment Advisor. In 1995, Investment Advisor was purchased by Dow Jones & Co., which in turn sold it to Wicks Business Information five years later.
