Intimo Lingerie is Australia's largest direct selling organisation focusing on women's lingerie.

INTIMO was launched in Melbourne, September 1995 as a direct marketing company offering a Collection of high quality designer lingerie and an attractive business opportunity for Australian women.

Available exclusively through in home presentations conducted by trained INTIMO Consultants, demand for these distinctive garments grew rapidly.

As Australian women recognised the progressive marketing plan, more and more jumped at the chance to run their own business. The company's representation continued to expand nationally and across the Tasman into New Zealand.

Sue Whyte

Sue began her career in Flinders Lane, the hub of Melbourne fashion in the 1970's and went on to be involved in all aspects of the industry, importing, design, manufacturing and licensing with a number of internationally recognised brands, before running her own fashion wholesale company.

It was here that Sue developed her firm belief in the power of female entrepreneurship and the advantage that personalised service holds in a competitive industry. After hearing numerous horror stories AbOUT ill fitting bras, awkward underwear shopping experiences and unable to find fashionable bras in larger cup sizes, Sue identified an untapped niche in the market; a brand of fashion lingerie in extended sizes that could be purchased in a comfortable setting matched with a genuine business opportunity for women to build a successful career from offering that personalised service to others.

Currently sitting as the sole female on the DSAA Board, Sue is proud and passionate about party plan and the opportunities that the direct selling industry provides for women to develop new skills, achieve economic independence and transform their lives.

Intimo and Charity - Intimo Aware

Intimo is partnered with the McGrath Foundation to promote the importance of breast awareness and the early detection of breast cancer. The McGrath Foundation was co-founded by Jane McGrath and her cricketing husband Glenn after Jane's initial recovery from breast cancer. The McGrath Foundation aims to raise money to place breast care nurses in rural and regional Australia as well as educating young women to be ‘breast aware’.

Intimo is also partnered with many organsations around Australia, including a Melbourne based community organisation Southern Family Life, supporting the elimination of domestic violence. Intimo raises many thousands of dollars for the Intimo Aware programme with each launch of its new range and donates a percentage of sales during the month of November (White Ribbon Day) towards this cause.

Nicky Buckley

Nicky Buckley is one of Australia’s most recognised and respected female faces. Following a successful modelling career, Nicky co hosted the Channel Nine hit show “Sale of the Century” for six years and performed in a variety of regular television and radio hosting roles. Nicky currently enjoys a variety of television appearances whilst attending to her life role of raising her three young sons together with husband Murray.

As the Face of Intimo, Nicky has been able to indulge her love of lingerie and represent a business that she believes offers women a fun and flexible career with genuine rewards.
