InterTrader
InterTrader is a UK-based company offering market financial derivatives such as spread betting and contracts for difference (CFDs). InterTrader became part of Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment, a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index, in 2010, and is a trading name of London Capital Group (LCG). The company’s activities are centred in the UK, but it is also active in Germany, France and Spain.
History
- 2010- InterTrader.com was launched in January 2010 as a spread betting business by PartyGaming plc, to offer financial market trading services as part of PartyGaming’s suite of online gaming firms.
- CFD trading was added to the product range in July 2010.
- 2011- After the merger of PartyGaming and bwin in 2011, InterTrader.com became part of bwin.party.
- InterTrader.com was named Spread Betting Operator of the Year at the 2011 eGaming Review Awards.
- The firm launched its German website in 2011.
- 2012- InterTrader.com incorporates IT-Financial charts, a charting tool for trading platforms and financial websites.
- The company expanded its online activity to France and Spain.
Regulation
InterTrader.com currently operates as a trading name of London Capital Group, which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in the United Kingdom.
