International Journal of Medical Justice
International Journal of Medical Justice (IJMJ) is an international peer-reviewed open-access academic journal covering forensic medicine, investigative medicine, legal medicine, and allied health sciences. It publishes original research, reviews, case reports, and medico-legal studies at the interface of medicine and justice systems.
History
The journal was established in 2023 and is published by the Global Academy of Forensic and Investigative Medicine and Science. Its inaugural issue was released on 26 January 2023.
Scope
The journal provides a scholarly platform for forensic medicine, clinical forensic sciences, medical toxicology, investigative medicine, and medico-legal research, emphasizing interdisciplinary links between medical science and legal systems.
Publication and indexing
The journal is published biannually. It is registered with the ISSN International Centre with both print and electronic ISSN numbers.
IJMJ is listed in third-party indexing services such as Index Copernicus, ABCD Index, and International Scientific Index.
As of 2026, the journal is not indexed in PubMed/MEDLINE, Scopus, Web of Science, or DOAJ.
