General Electric's Information Management Leadership Program (IMLP). The program focuses on developing a core set of competencies which are integral to the success of the IT professional in the GE environment. IMLP is a growing global initiative which is currently available to hired employees from all GE businesses, including:

==Program Description== The Information Management Leadership Program (IMLP) is designed to develop GE's next generation of leaders in the Information Management area. The program focuses on developing a strong technical foundation, business functional knowledge and solid project management skills. Through IMLP, high-achieving graduates make a smooth, accelerated transition from college to business. The two-year program consists of four six-month rotational assignments that cut across different aspects of GE business. In addition, IMLP's receive formal coursework in advanced information technology and systems during a four-week GE bootcamp along with many other educational workshops.
Goals & Objectives
The program aims to develop strong technical and project management skills through on-the-job training in business dynamics, career strategies, communication techniques, problem solving, decision making and project leadership. IMLP's should gain a solid understanding of GE products, business and industry. In addition, learning how to establish priorities, goals, and measurements consistent with the GE vision is paramount to the success of the program.
