InfeKted Sound

infeKted Sound was formed in 2003 by DJ Matt Noise as a UK distribution shop for powernoise, rhythmic noise, dark ambient and industrial artists, funding was pulled for the project and restarted in 2005 as a UK based record label after discussions with industrial noise artist EVA|3.

infeKted Sound's focus lies primarily with the releasing of full length albums, EP's, vinyl records and MP3 downloads of artists based in the UK of the powernoise, rhythmic noise, dark ambient, experimental, gabba and industrial hardcore MusicAL genres.

infeKted Sound also organises and promotes live music events under the name 'Live infeKtion' and also parties within the UK for larger artists in the aforementioned musical genres as a platform to promote its own UK artists.

In December 2005 the first cd was released and established the record label as the only Noise label in the United Kingdom, the cd was a limited EDition compilation entitled 'Rhythms for decay' which was shipped in a special ejector case cd tray, infeKted Sound is still going strong and stil organising parties and live events as well as releasing new UK artists.

InfeKted Sound also owns industrial/Noise club [implant] which is based in Manchester in the North of England and also hosts regular live events at the infamous Slimelight in London, infeKted Sound artists have played and are still playing at numerous underground parties, clubs and festivals throughout the UK and Europe
