Indiaproperty Online Pvt Ltd is an online real estate portal in India for property buyers, sellers, renters and real estate professionals. It lists properties for sale and rent as well as information needed for the users to be successful in the property search process. The company is headquartered in Chennai.
AbOUT Company
Indiaproperty.com was previously a part of Consim Info (now BharatMatrimony), a company founded by Murugavel Janakiraman. Effective from March 2013, IndiaProperty has been established as a separate entity, and came to known by its present name, IndiaProperty Online Pvt. Ltd.
In December 2013, Indiaproperty received Series B funding of $12 million led by Bertelsmann India with participation from existing investors Canaan Partners and Mayfield Fund.
Company Initiatives
As a part of the company initiatives, Indiaproperty conducts a series of property expos by the name of 'Gruhapravesham' across major Indian cities and also abroad. Gruhapravesham is a property fair that provides a platform for property sellers, agents, home loan companies and allied services to connect with potential buyers. The event acts as an extension to the online support the portal offers, basically giving a common platform to buyers and sellers to interact with each other.
It has also conducted surveys and market researches which has been instrumental in helping the buyers in making an informed decisions. It is also beginning to establish itself as a company known for quality research in the real estate space.
Award
IndiaProperty has been awarded as one among the top 100 Asia list of Red Herring.
