India Cup Gaming Championships
The India Cup Gaming Championships (ICGC) is an National Level e-sports event (or "Cyber Games Festival") organized by Indian Organization Indian Gamers Organization which is a Non-Profit NGO.
The India Cup Games were set up in September 2006 with the first festival being held in 2006. The festival is influenced by the Olympic Games .
ICGC is a gaming festival celebrated every month at different locations. It unites gamers from all over India to allow players to enjoy and respect the gaming environment.
Game Tournaments are planned and organized by gamers themselves. This helps in developing their Managerial Skills. Since only students of the top technical institutes like IITs and NITs take part in it, the tournament helps them in sharing their technical skills.
The tournament also promises to bring IT Literacy in the country by holding some of the events at remote locations in India
