Income Bond

An Income BOND is a bond issued by the NS&I(National Savings and Investments) which is a Government department and Executive Agency of the Chancellor of the Exchequer in the United Kingdom. The income bond pays a regular monthly income with 100% capital security and variable interest rates.
The NS&I also created You & Your Moneywebsite which offers independent financial education and information on particular financial issues such as savings and investments, bereavement and retirement planning – with no sales or advertising.
The NS&I is one of the UK’s largest retail savings and investments organizations with invested assets of over £79 billion from over 27 million customers. The NS&I’s role is to help reduce the cost to the taxpayer of the UK Government borrowing. This is achieved by offering a portfolio of secure retail financial savings and investment products to UK customers, providing a cost effective means of contributing towards the national debt compared with raising funds on the wholesale market.
