Incept Systems is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company providing office automation, Biometric and Surveillance Systems. It is headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

History

Founded in 2008, Incept faced a lot of hurdles in its starting due to red-tape in India. Incept was started by Ashwin Srivastava and Hariom Sharma in 2010. Hariom Sharma has been an entrepreneur in Security Industry since the year 2000. Ashwin is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B), and has been an entrepreneur with focus on serving SMEs. Narasimha Swamy has also been technically ACTIVE in Access Control Industry and was awarded the Frost & Sullivan Award.

In 2010, the company's head office in Goregaon, Mumbai was set up. At that time, the company had AbOUT 25 clients for its Biometric Systems.

In 2011, the client base expanded to include names like Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where new and unique solutions were provided. This was the direct result of enhanced product listing and strict adherence to quality servicing.

In 2012, Incept launched their Opex model for CCTV Systems, focusing on residential societies. This step marked the entry of Electronic Security as rented service in Mumbai. Incept has also partnered with The Entrepreneurship Cell, IIT Bombay in the field of advertising as part of its efforts to increase awareness about Biometrics. In the same year, Incept also launched a Training Academy to produce more biometric and surveillance experts for the industry. Incept Training Academy partnered with KIIT University and various other colleges and institutions to increase its expanse in India. It is also associated with government and legal bodies in countries like Nigeria .

Products & Honors

Incept provides Biometrics and Surveillance (CCTV) systems to Small and medium sized businesses. Its products are customized for SMEs and they present themselves as primarily a Biometrics brand. Incept also promotes the thought of outsourcing more and embracing technology. Although primarily a service providing company it also manufactures and sells products directly. Incept products have also been used at various construction sites adding different dimensions to usage of such systems.

Incept Biometric Systems has been awarded by Frost & Sullivan in 2007, and Incept was also included in top 100 SMEs of 2011 list by the magazine Small Medium Entrepreneur. Incept has been mentored by CEO of RAK Holding and other business leaders.
