In-Spire

In-Spire' is a multi-disciplinary peer-reviewed academic journal of social sciences engaging in critical political thought on contemporary societies. The journal is based at the Keele University in England. It is supported by and cooperating with the Research Institute for Law, Politics and Justice at the university. In-Spire is an electronic journal and appears bi-annually, publishing original, critical interdisciplinary research from established academics as well as young researchers in form of traditional articles. Furthermore, In-Spire publishes book reviews.

History

In-Spire was established in 2003 as the in-house journal of the School of Politics, International Relations, the Environment and Philosophy (SPIRE) at Keele University. The journal has gradually been adapted to reflect the re-organisation of the university and changes in the academic environment in general.
