In-Sink (news music)
In-Sink is a collection of television news music package created by 615 Music. It was named after Cindy Sink, who was the promotional director of CBS affiliate WRAL-TV in Raleigh, North Carolina, who had first commissioned the package in 1994. In-Sink V.4 (Indiana) was commissioned by another CBS affiliate WISH-TV in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2004. It contains the Back Home Again in Indiana signature , which was originally heard in Newsleader, another news music package by Stephen Arnold. In-Sink contains 674 cuts of news opens, bumpers, closes, primary themes, stingers, and IDs. Among the stations that used four versions of In-Sink are the original stations in parenthesis:
- In-Sink V.1, V.2, and V.3 (WRAL-TV Raleigh)
- In-Sink V.4 [Indiana] (WISH-TV Indianapolis)
The news package "Third Coast" by Stephen Arnold Music, though unrelated, has a very similar melody to In-Sink.
