Imatra Bauer Tournament

'''The Imatra Bauer Tournament''' is a hockey tournament in [[Imatra]], [[Finland]] at the beginning of August. The tournament has been played since 2015, in the first year the tournament acted as '''Go Saimaa Tournament''' but the following year the name changed. The Imatra Spa Arena is therefore the place where the tournament is taking place and the Bauer Tournament is mostly aimed at teams of South and East For province Finnish hockey teams.

The tournament was attended by [[KooKoo (Liiga)|KooKoo]], [[SaiPa]] and [[JYP Jyväskylä|JYP]]. The first foreign team in the tournament was the Russian [[Severstal Cherepovets]] in 2015. Other earlier teams in the tournament include [[Lahti Pelicans|Pelicans]] and [[KalPa]]. The tournament is in August as the [[SM-Liiga]] rules prohibit training matches in July.

== This is how it is played ==
Four teams take part in the tournament and each team plays two games, the playing time is traditional and the investments are calculated according to profits and losses. The medal games are not played.
